Anne L. Stephens, WHNP

Anne has over 17 years experience providing women's health care.  Prior to moving to Virginia, she provided care for military women and their families at Madigan Army Medical Center near Seattle, Washington.

As a faculty member of St. Francis Hospital Residency Program, she supervised and taught residents as part of the OB/Gyn curriculum.  She also coordinated patient services for the Family Practice Clinic and two satellite clinics, one in a predominantly Spanish speaking community.  Anne is fluent in Spanish.

Anne has an interest in women's health care of all ages.  She performs biopsies and  insertions of IUD and Implanon birth control.  She performs urinary incontinence testing (Cystometrogram), and interstitial cystitis evaluation and treatment on site.  She is trained in managing perimenopause and menopause treatment as well.
